Fifty-year-old Shah, a close confidant of PM Narendra Modi, is expected to give a complete makeover to organisational structures, replacing at least three vice presidents and three general secretaries, who are now ministers in the Modi cabinet.
Presidents of BJP’s Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Tamil Nadu and Chhattisgarh units too have become ministers and new faces have to be brought in to lead the party in these states.
