Ahmedabad district election officer Sunaina Tomar also issued a statement, saying Togadia's name along with that of his family was in the list.
Togadia, when contacted, countered EC's stand saying "since last ten years, I have shifted to Memnagar from my earlier residence of Bapunagar and voted thrice from my new residential area".
While Bapunagar falls under Rakhial constituency, Memnagar falls under Sarkhej assembly constituency, both in Ahmedabad district.
Togadia said he would take up the issue with the election authorities on Friday.
Earlier, angry over his name "not figuring" in the voters list, Togadia charged the chief election commissioner J M Lyngdoh "with hatching a conspiracy against Hindu society by deliberately omitting names of a large number of Hindus".
The Election Commission, meanwhile, released details relating to his name figuring in the Naroda Pataya assembly constituency in Ahmedabad.
Deputy Election Commission A N Jha said that the name of Togadia was in the voter list of 78-Naroda in part 130 as serial number 154.
Jha said the names of his family members were registered from serial number 155 to 159 and the address of the VHP leader was shown as Vraj Colony, Naroda.
