Lashing out at caretaker chief Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP government, Singh said people of the state have seen his (Modi's) "real face" and are aware of his "thinking" of dividing the society.
Stating there was not much difference between BJP and Congress, the SP leader said both have not mentioned any action against the rioters in their election manifesto.
Singh said Congress has started its campaign from Ambaji temple, as was done by late Rajiv Gandhi kicking off party campaign from Ayodhaya in 1985, which clearly indicates that BJP and Congress were dividing society.
By not entering into a pre-poll alliance with SP, Congress has proved that Hindus will be annoyed as SP was branded pro-minorities, he said.
In reply to a question, Singh said, "Some voters are silent but I can assure you that they are against BJP," adding that even the middle class and business community people are against BJP as they were the most affected by riots.
He said Modi was working as "Hitler" and both Modi and Shankersinh Vaghela were two sides of the same coin and "disciples of the same Gurukul".
