The trial court had Oct 31 allowed the Delhi Police to conduct narco test on the 59-year-old Ghandy after the police contended that they had not been able to elicit all information from him despite the use of scientific methods of interrogation.
The court allowed the narco test after a panel of doctors from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) told the court that Ghandy was fit for the test.
The Maoist was arrested on September 21 and is in judicial custody.
