A day after the 24-year-old star was greeted by her mother Dina and teen sister Ali, her ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson too stopped by the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California. Lindsay Lohan could be out of the prison after serving just nine days of her 90-day jail term, it has emerged. The Mean Girls star was sentenced to 90 days in jail for breaking the terms of her probation for a 2007 drink-driving charge. It was believed Lohan, 24, would probably serve around 23 days due to prison overcrowding.

However, after she entered Lynwood Jail, California, police documents showed she was likely to be free in 14 days. And now, a jail source has said that the actress could be out of the jail after serving just ten per cent of her sentence.

"She's tough, but being in a cell is hard on her. She cries daily and her emotions are up and down," News.com.au quoted her as saying.

"Everyday is a struggle to stay positive, but we all believe that she will be stronger when she finishes her sentence," she added. the ough
