After yesterday's incident, another fire broke out for the second time today at the prestigious Hindu High School here creating panic in the area. Director General of Fire Service Gopal Bhattacharya said that the fire broke out in another room in the third floor of the north Kolkata school.

"It was next to the affected computer room in yesterday's fire incident. Many paper materials are destroyed in the incident of fire repeated today," Bhattacharya said.

Altogether three fire tenders rushed to the spot, which brought the situation under control shortly.

The cause of the fire is, however, yet to be ascertained. No injury was reported in the incident.

In another incident today, an engineering goods manufacturing workshop under Tiljala area was damaged in fire which developed during welding.

Two fire tenders immediately rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control within half-an-hour, Bhattacharya said adding that there was no casualty or injury.
