Rohit Shetty-directed laugh riot Golmaal 3, which released on Diwali (Nov 5), has earned Rs. 117 crore gross worldwide in its first week, its distributor says.

Produced by Shri Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd and distributed by Eros International, the third instalment of the Golmaal franchise managed to rake in Rs.102 crore in India and Rs.15 crore overseas in its initial week. The movie opened across 2,000 plus screens worldwide.

"Even in its second week Golmaal 3 is doing extremely well across all overseas markets... Mauritius, Australia and Fiji have registered record breaking collections," Pranab Kapadia, president, distribution, Eros International, said in a statement.

The comic caper stars Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Khemu, Ratna Pathak, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee and Ashwini Kalsekar.
