Five persons were injured when a portion of an old building collapsed in the Burrabazar area of the city on Thursday morning. A portion of the building at India Exchange place, near the stock exchange, collapsed around 10.30am, injuring five persons, police said. "It was a dilapidated building housing two offices. Some shifting work was going on when the incident took place. The injured are undergoing treatment," they said.
