For his stupendous all-round display in the Cricket World Cup, which helped India win the mega event, man of the tournament Yuvraj Singh is to be gifted an Audi, the German luxury car maker announced today. The German luxury car maker was driven to gift the car to the left-handed Yuvraj following former all rounder Ravi Shastri's nostalgic reference to the Audi 100 he won for his 'Champion of Champions' performance in the World Championship of Cricket won by India in Australia in 1985.

"Audi India decided to keep the tradition alive and rekindle the fire of victory," the release said. "The memory of the 1985 victory lap in the Audi 100 continues to live on in the minds of Indian cricket fans even today," it said. Shastri and Anil Reddi, Head of Sales of Audi India, would hand over the keys of the new car to Yuvraj Singh at a soon to be announced date, the release added.
