The play was performed by college students, who volunteered to take the campaign against eve-teasing a step forward. The performers focused on sexual harassment in public places and the mentality of perverts who tend to think that the woman would easily give in to harassment. The students told the audience on most offences of such kind go unreported as many women still feel uncomfortable approaching the police.
Vishwas Nangre Patil, additional commissioner of police and Pratap Dighavkar attend the street play. "The reason behind conducting the street play was to create awareness amongs the citizens and to inform them that such matters should be brought to the notice of the police. People who witness such acts should not stand and watch, but should take action against the hooligans. If these matters are not reported and the accused are not punished, we will have more such cases."
