Model Angela Jonsson, better known as Ranbir Kapoor’s ex-flame, is all set to kickstart her Bollywood career. Days after it was reported that the model has inked a deal with Salman Khan’s home production company, she is now said to have signed a contract with Sajid Nadiadwala’s Grandson Entertainment Ltd.
 
“Last week, we signed a deal with Angela. She’s now attending dancing and acting classes. She seems to be very promising,” says Sajid.

The deal, however, isn’t limited to a particular number of films. And though Sajid remains non-committal, industry insiders suggest that Angela will star opposite Salman in Shirish Kunder’s action flick, Kick.

Atul Kasbekar, MD of Bling! Entertainment Solutions, that manages Angela’s work, is more forthcoming: “We couldn’t have thought of a better launch for Angela than one opposite Salman. It’s very exciting to be part of the winning team,” says the ace photographer.

Sajid contends that he is starting a few films this year. “Let’s see which one she fits into. It’s too early to decide,” he says.

The Kingfisher model is expected to star in Sohail Khan’s Sher Khan with Salman, though Sohail claims nothing has been decided yet. Buzz is also that she may star in the sequel to Partner (2007) as well as the remake of the classic film, Amar Akbar Anthony (1979).
