The latest addition of mapping data lets people zoom right in to the US and certain areas across Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Tokyo for a bird’s eye view of the location.
“This oblique perspective of the world is a special feature of Bing Maps, and we are proud to announce Bird's Eye has a total of 1,388,593 square kilometers of imagery,” said Microsoft in a post on the Bing Maps blog. “That's a total of 302 TB of data!”
