Adele has spoken out against wedding rumours that she has secretly married boyfriend Simon Konecki before the birth of their child in a sarcastic Twitter message. The 24-year-old singer, whose baby is due in a month, was at the centre of US rumours on Wednesday night that she tied the knot with Konecki back in July.

“I’m not married... Zzzzzzz,” the Mirror quoted her as tweeting.

American publication Life and Style had printed photos of her from last month in London, sporting a gold band on her wedding ring finger.

“Adele and Simon managed to keep the baby news a secret for so long that there are rumours they’ve already gotten married, too,” a secret source said.

“She’s an old-fashioned girl and can’t wait to be part of a family unit. She just wants to focus on the baby and the man she loves,” the source said.

However, the Someone Like You hitmaker’s tweet is one of very few that she has made about her personal life over the last few months.
