The wife of a schoolteacher in Ahmedabad was arrested for posing as a senior scientist and entering the high-security headquarters of the Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) in Bangalore with a fake identity card, police said on Monday.
The police are checking her husband’s claim that she undergoes treatment for depression and often goes missing for days.

Buela M Sam, 41, got through the first entry point of Antariksh Bhavan around 11am on September 21, but was detained by CISF personnel five hours later.

They got suspicious after she claimed she had to attend a seminar when no seminar was scheduled at Isro’s headquarters at Yelahanka. The CISF has not commented on the incident.
