"Every citizen has the right to know the details of assets and liabilities of each minister which would promote transparency in the government," Mohanty said.
Urging the chief ministers to also direct his ministers to furnish such details, he added that unless and until such details were disclosed, it would be impossible to verify if there had been an abnormal and unexplained increase in wealth of any minister.
"Such prompt disclosure is de rigour given the fact that you have been constantly claiming that your government is transparent and committed to fight corruption. We are extremely hopeful that you live up to your public claims," Mohanty said.
