Jointly produced by Akshay Kunar, Paresh Rawal and Ashvini Yardi, OMG Oh My God! has put up a great performance at the box office. Trade sources reveal that the film, made at an approximate budget of Rs. 20 crore, has done well over the weekend, in spite of the big cricket match between India and Pakistan on Sunday. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh says, “The film has shown a remarkable performance at the box-office. It’s here to stay.”

Taran adds, “The film has collected approximately Rs. 18.5 crore nett in its opening weekend. On Friday, it collected Rs. 4.25 crore, Saturday’s collections were Rs. 6.5 crore and on Sunday the collections went up to Rs. 7.75 crore.”

Trade analyst Vikas Mohan says, “Sunday was a good day for the film. It’s not a smash hit, but it’s doing well.”

Co-producer Ashvini says, “The response, in terms of acclaim and box office earnings, has been overwhelming.”

Film distributor and exhibitor Akshaye Rathi says, “It’s a drama with Paresh Rawal, not an Akshay Kumar entertainer. These films may not get a huge opening but are lambe race ka ghodas (in it for the long run).”
