Punjab Pardesh Congress Committee(PPCC) president Captain Amarinder Singh indirectly blamed chief minister Parkash Singh Badal for the attack on Lt General K S Brar, who was stabbed in London on Sunday night. Condemning the attack, he said it was the result of Badal's attempts to raise a memorial for the militants killed in an army operation in the Operation Bluestar.

Talking to media persons here on Tuesday, Amarinder said that by raising memorial, Badal and his company wanted to keep the wounds of the tragic incident open. "Such policies are detrimental to state's peace and brotherhood and the Congress party firmly oppose them", he said.
