However, the concessionaire, Delhi-Gurgaon Super Connectivity Limited (DGSCL) failed to convince the bench headed by justice SK Mittal to lift the complete ban on collection of toll fee put on September 4. "We'll only open once we are satisfied," said the bench.
As per the court orders, the concessionaire as on date can collect the toll fee from all the vehicles except during peak traffic hours from 8.30 am to 10 am and from 5.30 pm to 7 pm.
The court also questioned the very existence of toll plaza at the existing site stating that when the road is so important between the two major cities Delhi and Gurgaon which is causing so much of traffic problem even now, what will happen after two years from now when vehicles will increase.
