Apprehending threat to her life from her husband for objecting to his illicit relations, a woman allegedly got him murdered by hired killers. The woman, Sanjeeta Bara, who owns a placement agency, allegedly hired two rikshapullers and got her husband Manoj Bara (33) murdered on September 30 in Nihal Vihar, V Renganathan, Additional Commissioner of Police (West), said.
Sanjeeta was arrested on Tuesday while the hired killers, Sushil Bara and Bimal Kujur, were apprehended early on Wednesday, the ACP said.

"Sanjeeta told us during questioning that she got her husband murdered. She said that her husband had illicit relations with many women and when she objected to such relationships, her husband used to beat her brutally. She had a fear of being murdered by her husband," Renganathan said.

She allegedly made a plan to murder Manoj. She met Sushil and Kujur in a church at Punjabi Bagh and hatched the plan.
"She told them about the atrocities caused by her husband and fear of being killed. She asked them to murder Manoj and rescue her from his atrocities. The youths agreed.
