District Malaria Officer (DMO) Dr Padmakar Tripathi said sample of a suspected dengue patient, a resident of Ashoka Garden area, has also been collected for testing on Saturday. He said the patient was admitted in a private nursing home of Ashoka Garden area and his condition was critical. Dr Tripathi said out of three dengue patients admitted in National hospital, two have been discharged. Condition of the remaining patient continues to be critical, he added.
The three dengue patients admitted in National Hospital were from Sujalpur, Hoshangabad and Harda district. "The message has been communicated to the DMOs of respective districts and they have been asked to take required preventive measures to control the dengue outbreak from spreading,” said Dr Tripathi.
He said all the travellers from Delhi and Mumbai visiting Bhopal have been asked to communicate with District Malaria Office on 0755-2661045 in case of Dengue symptoms.
