Petrol to cost 56 paise a litre less in Delhi
In a minor respite for vehicle owners, petrol will cost 56 paise a litre less in Delhi from Tuesday.
The price cut follows the appreciation in the value of rupee against the US dollar. Monday’s announcement by state-owned oil marketing companies comes as welcome news for consumers after a volley of hikes in the prices of diesel and cooking gas (LPG).
Petrol will now cost
Rs.
67.90 a litre in Delhi, with effect from Monday midnight.
