An 88.88 carat diamond necklace, the Riviere of Perfection (R) crafted by Indian jewellery designer Nirav Modi, fetched Rs. 27 crore at a Sotheby’s auction in Hong Kong on Tuesday. It took over two years to create the piece, said a statement issued by the makers.
