A 23-year-old unmarried girl from Dalit community has accused a 47-year-old man of a dominating community of raping her for the last three years at Ateli town of Mahendergarh district. The accused have been identified as Mahender Yadav, a resident of Mahendergarh district. The victim told the police in her statement, that she is a student of Masters of Arts and she was taken by the accused to a place in Rajasthan three years back and raped her there and has been blackmailing her eversince.

Police said that she approached the women cell of the police last week and subsequently a case was registered. Ploce saus, "The victim and accused used to work in a private firm. She had been living in a rented room at Ateli and the accused visited her frequently."

The victim also alleged that she was forced to undergo an abortion after she got pregnant.  Police have arrested the accused on Wednesday after registering a case under Section 376 (rape), 323 (assault), 313 (causing miscarriage without woman's consent), 201 (Causing disappearance of evidence), 506 (criminal intimidation) of IPC and section 3 of the SC/ST Act.
