Ever since Bigg Boss 6 started last week, the house has been abuzz with actor Rajeev Paul trying to woo ex-wife Delnaz Paul, and many housemates supporting his effort.
However, Bhojpuri actor, Dinesh Lal Yadav (right), who got eliminated from the show on Friday night, says he did not even know the two were married. “Mujhe is bare mein na pata tha aur na ab pata hai. Mujhe bilkul nahi pata tha ki who husband-wife they,” says Nirahua.
It may have been his lack of interest that resulted in the elimination, he says. “I am a very shy person and I don’t mingle easily. That’s my lifestyle and the camera was catching every expression. I think that was the reason (for eviction). Other housemates are not like that,” he says, adding that he has accepted cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu as his guru after meeting him. “Maine unhe guru maan liya hai. He is playing the game in the truest sense. He has experience, is good to everyone and the best part is, he has a calming influence on all housemates,” he says.
Who did he not like in the house? “Although he is talented, Kashif (Qureshi) lacks experience and understanding. I tried to make him understand things in the few days that I spent with him. I am sure it will happen with time,” he says. The actor says he is not disappointed that his fans didn’t vote for him. “If they like me on screen, it does not mean they will like my lifestyle too,” he says.

Bigg Boss mellows down
The voice of Bigg Boss in the TV show Bigg Boss was considered to be of a strict, no-nonsense man who wanted housemates to adhere to the rules of his house.

But this year, the tone of Bigg Boss seems to have mellowed down considerably. When former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu was chatting with housemates without his microphone, Bigg Boss politely said, “Bigg Boss Navjot se kehna chahtein hai ki unki baatein to badi mazedaar hoti hain lekin yeh baatein poori duniya tak pahunche, isi liye Sidhu aap apna mic pehen lijiye” A source reveals, “This change is in-sync with the show’s format which is targeted towards the family audience this time.”
