Two elder brothers and a minor nephew of property broker Deep Singh, who along with his family and a friend were found dead inside a car at Bilquisganj on Saturday, were arrested for multiple murders on Monday. The victims were reportedly overpowered by the three accused and then hanged from the roof beam at their parents' home in Sehore. Deep Singh, his wife Rukmani, children Sanjana and Saurabh, along with their friend Karim Khan (a resident of Alwar in Rajasthan) had been found murdered on Saturday.

Additional director-general of police Vijay Yadav told HT that there was a long-standing property dispute between the brothers and the deceased couple had even threatened to kill them. The accused - Banne Singh, Vinod Singh and the minor nephew - committed the crime in fit of rage, the police officer added.

Even on the day of the incident, Deep had a fight with his brothers in the evening. Later, at around 9.30 pm, he went to his parents' home, about two km from his own residence, in his car with his family and Karim. There he picked a fight with his father and even assaulted him, the police revealed. His brothers, who lived close by, rushed to their parents' rescue and took them away to safety. But they returned soon after with their nephew and attacked Deep, his family and Karim.
