McLaren's Jenson Button managed to split the two Red Bull Racing cars of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber in the final free practice session for the Indian Grand Prix.

Faced with a track that has not been used for racing since last year's race and altered tyre compounds, drivers spent much of the session figuring out how to best 'balance' their cars on the Buddh International Circuit that remains dusty off the racing line.

It seemed evident that drivers and teams were trying something different as the majority of the complaints of the drivers during the session was of oversteer rather than the mid and high speed understeer their cars suffered during the practice sessions on Friday.

Many drivers even complained of high temperatures in the rear tyres.

The track temperature continued to rise through the session, making it difficult to suggest anything other than a pole for double world champion Sebastian Vettel.
