A press interaction with Shah Rukh Khan is always fun. And Monday evening, when he was accompanied by his leading ladies from Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, was no different. The event held at Yash Raj Studios was the first conference since director Yash Chopra’s death. It was also the first time that the three lead stars were sharing the stage. Fielding a question, Shah Rukh said, “No one looks as beautiful as a Yash Chopra heroine. Both Katrina and Anushka look more gorgeous than ever in the film.” This led to a series of questions comparing the ladies, with Shah Rukh asked to list what he likes about each of them.

About his Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008) co-star, SRK said, “She has an effervescent persona and is a happy soul. As soon as Anushka makes an entry, everything around turns happy.” He also added that Anushka is one of the most talented actresses around.

At this point, SRK seemed to have run out of words. His sheepish attempt at impressing Katrina failed when she pointed out that he was saying the same things he had said about Anushka. When he described her as “gentle”, Katrina retorted saying, “This is unfair. You said at least 25 things you like about Anushka and all you can say about me is that I am ‘gentle’. That says nothing about my talent.”

When it was Katrina’s turn to take on King Khan, she said, “SRK just mentioned one thing he likes about me, so I would maintain that order. My experience of working with him was... ‘good’,” she said with a grin. The friendly banter showed the camaraderie the three stars share. In the end, the girls won  when Katrina declared; “Since Shah Rukh is saying pretty much the same things about us, we think we are clones.”
