A day before Himachal Pradesh votes for 68 assembly seats, state Congress president and CM candidate Virbhadra Singh paid a 'secret' visit to Dera Radha Swami at Beas on Saturday.
Virbhadra landed by a private helicopter inside the dera around 11.30am accompanied by some Congress leaders, including former local MLA Jasbir Singh Dimpa.

According to sources, Virbhadra was closeted with dera head Gurinder Singh Dhillon for an hour, immediately after which Virbadhra flew back to Himachal. The issues discussed at the meeting could not be known as sources termed it as only a "courtesy visit".

Political experts, however, termed it "politically significant", as there is a huge following of dera in Himachal Pradesh.
