Old habits die hard, and the same seems to hold true for old ties. After parting ways with former aide Arvind Kejriwal, anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare might just end up having an office close to his. Former ally, yoga guru Ramdev also has a charitable medical facility next door.
 
Team Anna has sifted through potential offices in Sarvodaya Enclave, North Campus, Priyadarshini Vihar, Bengali Market and Kaushambi in Ghaziabad. The Kaushambi property is on the first floor of the building that has Ramdev’s Patanjali Arogya Kendra. India Against Corruption’s office is also close by.

When HT approached owner of the Kaushambi property and Anna Hazare follower Mala Dhingra, she said the location was being considered.
 
“(But) I cannot say anything more. This will have to be decided by the team as a whole.” Team-Anna member Sharmistha Sharma, however, said that nothing has been finalised.
 
When asked to comment on the possibility of an office close to the IAC office, Sharma said: “This place had been the central point of earlier movements and is a preferable choice for the volunteers.”
 
Another Anna follower, requesting anonymity, said, “The location should be accessible to our volunteers and should also suit our budget.”
