Kajol’s younger sister Tanisha Mukherjee’s acting career never really took off. So now, she seems to be finding newer roles in the film industry.

Recently, Tanisha was spotted with her brother-in law Ajay Devgn at almost every promotional event for his film, Son Of Sardaar. Surely, she isn’t part of the film’s cast. So it made everyone wonder what exactly her association was. When Tanisha was contacted, she shied away from commenting, saying, “I won’t be able to comment. You should contact our publicist.”

So we called Devgn’s publicist to get an insight. That’s when a spokesperson told us, “She is one of the co-producers and now she is handling post-production and keeping an eye on the marketing.” It’s quite evident that she is closely associated with the film, as she was also spotted with Devgn when he was visiting mandaps during Ganesh Chaturthi. “She was actively involved in planning the marketing strategies,” adds the spokesperson.

The actor who made her debut in acting with the disastrous multi-starrer Sssshhh... in 2003, went on to play smaller roles in bigger films such as Sarkar (2005) and its sequel, Sarkar Raaj (2008). Most of her other roles were in forgettable films like  Neal ‘N’ Nikki  (2005) and Be-Careful (2011). The actor’s next film is director Sai Kabir’s forthcoming Chemistry.
