Two youths allegedly beat to death a boy when he was returning from a wedding reception along with his friend late on Tuesday. Arun Kumar, a Class 8 student of a private school and resident of Dabua colony in Faridabad, had gone to the wedding reception of a neighbour along with his friend Shadab on Tuesday.

Arun was involved in a scuffle with some youths at the event. Arun and Shadab were returning home to Dabua colony on a motorcycle after the reception when some youths in a car stopped them in the Anaj Godam area and began raining blows on them.

Shadab managed to flee, but Arun was critically injured by his attackers. The police have registered a case of murder.
