Mega lok adalats would be organised at Kapurthala, Phagwara and Sultapur Lodhi on December 15. District and sessions judge Gurmit Ram Banyal reviewed the arrangements for the lok adalats with deputy commissioner Alaknanda Dayal, additional district and sessions judge Gurmit Kaur, superintendent of police Kulwant Singh, chief judicial magistrate JS Marok in his office on Thursday.

Asking the district administration to persuade people to get their pending issues resolved, Banyal said: "Proper campaign should be launched to inform people about the benefits of lok adalats and for this help of social workers, NGOs and local bodies department employees and volunteers should be taken to ensure maximum participation."

People interested in getting a hearing at the lok adalats can submit their application to the court of civil judge (senior division) in Kapurthala and in the courts of additional civil judge (senior division) in Phagwara and Sultanpur Lodhi, he added.
