She stated that it was tough for her husband to strike a balance between politics and "earning bread and butter from TV shows".
The CPS said she and her husband were committed to the saffron party, thus he should leave Bigg Boss, as the BJP leadership desired.
"I adore Modi," she said, when asked whether she wanted him to become the next prime minister.
"He (Modi) is the leader who is efficiently running his state with development as his major goal," she said.
The CPS for health and family welfare refuted news reports that she had failed to conduct a sting operation on Wednesday against a government doctor doing private practice in Rupnagar.
