Bigg Boss to get new element tonight: a village-style mud hut
This season of Bigg Boss is springing surprises on viewers almost every week. After letting contestants such as Navjot Singh Sidhu and Karisma Kotak leave, due to political duties and her dad’s demise respectively, and introducing two new contestants, Mink and Vishal Karwal, the channel has now decided to add yet another new element. Tonight, a brand new house will be introduced into the show with a twist.
A source close to the show reveals, “Next to the luxurious Bigg Boss house will be a rustic and raw village style mud hut, which will be a fourth of the size of the current 10,000 square feet house. The new house will have floors and walls made of mud, with a single bedroom with six beds but no mattresses. Instead of couches, there will be chatais (floor mats) and antique copper trunks for storage. Unlike the current house, which has air conditioning, there will be none in the new one. The kitchen will not have a microwave oven, food processor or even a sink to wash dishes. However, a small gas stove will be provided, next to which the contestants will have to squat on the floor and cook in aluminium and copper utensils. They will have to fetch water from a six feet-deep well.”
The makers have re-introduced model Karisma Kotak, in the show, who will enter the modern house while eliminated contestants will enter the village one. Sources also claim that Yana Gupta will probably enter the house tonight. The makers might introduce wildcard entries and eliminated contestants in the village house, as a surprise for the audiences.
