The lowest minimum temperature in the NCR region was recorded at Gurgaon at 9.1 degrees Celsius.
The city could see a return of the smog that enveloped the entire city earlier this month. It is, however, expected to be milder.
"With the shallow fog and low temperature, Saturday morning just seemed to show what is in store for the city in December and January," said Kavita Chandra, a resident of Palam Vihar.
The Met Department has forecast fog in the mornings during the coming week but the days are expected to be clear and sunny. There is no chance of rainfall.
"On Sunday, the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 27 degrees Celsius and 12 degrees Celsius, respectively. The morning will be foggy and misty but the sky will be clear during the day," said the weatherman.
