This Diwali was special for actor Kushal Tandon. He not only got the opportunity to spend time with his family in Lucknow, but also received a lot of appreciation from his fans in Mumbai.

A source close to him says, “Recently he got some great surprises from his fans. A bunch of teenagers flew in from Bangalore to meet him. Each of them gifted him a bouquet of hundred roses, which Kushal accepted as a token of appreciation for his role as Viraat in Star Plus’ Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. He was so overwhelmed with this gesture that he asked those fans to wait until he finished his shoot, so that he could spend some time with them. There was another Diwali surprise that left him baffled. He received an iPad3, with an anonymous note of appreciation.”

Expressing his gratitude, Tandon says, “I am truly blessed to have such loving fans. I would like to thank each one of them. Their support really matters to me.”

Kushal has decided to return this expensive gift once he identifies the sender. Instead he says that he would be happier if his fans contributed this money for some social cause, on his behalf.
