She reiterated her government's stance of not allowing FDI in retail in Tamil Nadu.
Asked about AIADMK's stand on a proposed no-confidence motion against the union government in parliament, Jayalalithaa said: "So far no one has approached the AIADMK for support for any no-confidence motion. If such a request comes, we'll examine it."
She said her party would take a call depending on the positions taken by other parties on the no-confidence motion.
On Congress projecting Rahul Gandhi as a prime ministerial candidate, Jayalalithaa said the party had the freedom and right to choose its candidate for the post of prime minister.
