He said the finance department has already released the first installment of Rs. 42 lakh and second installment shall be released during February 2013.

He said that some delay has occurred in implementation of order of the High Court which was neither intentional nor deliberate and is a procedural one.

He also tendered an unconditional and unqualified apology for the same. He urged the court to dispose off the present contempt petition in the interest of justice.

The court was hearing a contempt of court petition for not implementing an order passed on August 8, 2011. The court had ordered the released of Rs. 1 crore for the building of the school.

The court ordered that affidavit is taken on record and petition is kept alive and would come up for further hearing on March 6. Councilor Aditya Bhatara had approached the Punjab and Haryana high court for directions.
