After Shaitan (2011), director Bejoy Nambiar’s gangster comedy film, David, is all set to release in February next year. In the film, Neil Nitin Mukesh, and Tamil actors Vikram and Jiiva, will be seen playing the lead role of David. However, the director has now planned to draw up the promotional campaign of the film solely around Neil.

A source close to the actor reveals, “Neil has carved a niche for himself in the genre of edgy films, right from his debut with Johnny Gaddaar (2007). Now, with David, he is back in the genre that he enjoys the most. Given his natural ease with such films, Bejoy has decided to let Neil shoulder the entire promotional campaign.”

David will simultaneously be dubbed in Tamil and Telugu. The source adds, “Although Vikram and Jiiva are in the film, the Hindi version focusses on Neil. The makers are working towards creating curiosity in the industry and audiences and have been going the extra mile to keep Neil's look under wraps.
