Police sources revealed that after Kasab's hanging, Jundal will be lodged in the same cell where the lone surviving terrorist was kept before he was hanged.
"Whenever Jundal is brought to the court, the premises around the court had to be fortified by local police and team of Force One commandos. However, when the case comes up for trial, arranging the security would be an issue due to which the authorities are contemplating to conduct the trial in the court," said a police official on condition of anonymity.
As per the charge sheet filed by the crime branch, a native of Beed district of Maharashtra, Jundal is one of the key accused in the 26/11 terror attack case. The investigation has revealed that it was Jundal who gave instructions to 10 terrorists who attacked the city including Kasab. He had also taught Hindi to Kasab and other terrorists before they were sent to Mumbai for the attack.
The crime branch has alleged that he was also one of the trainer and planner of the attack and was stationed in the control room, which was set up in Karachi, Pakistan for monitoring the terrorist attack at Mumbai.
