Late on Tuesday night, Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi were spotted driving around the city. While Vidya was seen behind the steering wheel, Emraan sat in the passenger seat. A witness reveals that they were accompanied by another person sitting in the back seat. "Their car was accompanied by other vehicles. They made many rounds of the same stretch between 10 pm and 2 am," reveals the witness, adding, "The car stopped at four places. On two occasions, Vidya and Emraan got down from the car and discussed something while pointing to a building in the vicinity. It seemed they were looking for a particular address. Given the way they were dressed, it looked like a shoot in progress."

The makers of the film confirmed that the actors were indeed shooting for their upcoming film Ghanchakkar.

"This is a crucial scene in the film in which Emraan and Vidya are driving around the city looking for something that they desperately need," says Manish Hariprasad, creative director (studios), Disney UTV, which is producing the film.
