Tomei is in talks to to play Hugh Grant's love interest in an upcoming film by Marc Lawrence, reveals Thewrap.com. Marisa Tomei, who earned an Academy Award in 1993 for her performance in My Cousin Vinny, is negotiating the role of a single mother who goes back to school, where she meets a former Hollywood hot commodity turned scriptwriting professor (Hugh Grant).

The untitled project will mark the fourth collaboration between Marc Lawrence and Hugh Grant, including Music and Lyrics, which followed a similar plotline.

If a deal is reached, Marisa Tomei and Hugh Grant will start shooting scenes next spring in New York City.
