The end of the year is a busy time for actors who get flooded with requests for performances at New Year’s Eve parties in five star hotels. While most juggle their film assignments and dance performances, Kangana Ranaut is choosing to avoid that drill entirely. A source close to her says, “Kangana has been working hard for her movies I Love NY with Sunny Deol, Shootout At Wadala with John Abraham and Anil Kapoor, Krrish 3 with Hrithik Roshan, and Rensil D’Silva’s next alongside Emraan Hashmi. With back-to-back shooting schedules, she is feeling tired and over-worked.

So even though she was approached to perform by three leading five star hotels, she turned them down. “The organisers wanted her to dance to a mix of her old and new hits, including Sadi Gali from Tanu Weds Manu (2011) and Tum Jo Aaye from Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai (2010).” 

The source adds, “They were ready to pay as much as Rs. 1- Rs. 1.5 crore, but she had to refuse as she wants to take a break.”

Kangana will soon wrap up the schedule of her Emraan film Unglee and then has to start shooting for Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Revolver Rani. In between the two, she has a couple of days free at the end of December, and that’s when she wants to take time off and go abroad for a break.
