After playing a Haryanvi cop in FIR, actor Kavita Kaushik will be seen in yet another comedy serial, Tota aur Maina, which will soon go on air on SAB TV.

In the show, she will play the role of Maina - a modern young, free-spirited and adventurous girl. “Maina is wild and it’s just an extension of me. She’s happy, confident, outgoing. I’m having a blast shooting for it because it’s an earthy realistic character who is very funny at the same time. I had to learn the local dialect to make my character authentic,” says Kavita.

The show is based on the lives of people in Uttar Pradesh.
