Mumbai’s SP Jain Institute of Management and Research has made it to the list among those schools categorised as “elite regional”. The categorisation covers those institutes well regarded in the Asia-Pacific region, who are in the process of enhancing their reputation further.
The survey was based on responses from more than 25,000 employers recruiting b-school graduates.
The report noted that students at IIM-A and IIM-B in particular had the highest GMAT scores.
“Indian MBA candidates are the world’s most academically distinguished,” the report noted. Students at Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (780) and Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (767) have the highest average GMAT scores in the world, it said.
