Sitting in a quiet green corner on a sunny winter morning, flipping through the pages of your favourite book, sipping on to fragrant tea and chomping on a toothsome platter is one of the simple pleasures in life we all crave for.
Offering all these under one roof is Cafe at CMYK
tucked in Lodhi Road’s quaint Meherchand market. Set on the first floor, it almost resembles a college cafeteria with a touch of style.
The day’s menu is written on a black board at the counter that holds a quirky blade-shaped mirror, in front of which is the mini library. The menu is short and sweet — European bistro food, Malaysian, South East Asian and a few Delhi street food dishes.
So, without being messy, as you read, you can dig into their meal combos in a bowl — Singaporean black pepper prawns, Spaghetti bolognese, Munich roast pork or Malaysian veg curry, all affordably priced at Rs. 300.
The highlight of the place is however the 15 varieties of tea they serve. From Tulsi, masala, jasmine to a range of aromatic brews, there are loads to relish. A good place to spend a lazy day but wish they stacked up their library a tad more.
