On Wednesday, the kabaddi teams will make the last push for playing in the men's and women's finals at the Multipurpose Sports Stadium here.
This will be the day when top four heavyweights compete in the semi-finals. In the men's section, host Indian take on Iran, and Canada will try their luck against Pakistan. In the women's category, India go up against England and Malaysia will lock horns with Denmark.

Iran, underdogs at the beginning of the world cup, are strong contenders for the title crushing a strong team from the US. In the semi-finals, home favourites can't take them lightly. Pakistan, on the other hand, will aim at avenging its defeat at the hands of Canada in the last world cup at the same ground.

Malaysia are the new superpower in the women's section after crushing England and the US, and will like to play in the final in Jalandhar.
