Russian customers of the Google Play store can now buy movies and books in the country, the internet giant said Tuesday.
Book prices on Google Play start from 50 rubles ($1.6), and some books, mainly Russian classics, are free. Movies cost from 99 rubles to buy or less to rent, with users opting to rent after being given a 48-hour "window" to watch the film.

Films can be either watched online or downloaded on Android.
