Morality. The word sounds good, but it can't be imposed upon anyone, or even be cultivated as it's an intrinsic quality. But one can definitely develop a healthy sense of morality from childhood with the help of some essential elements aided by active roles played by parents.
parents are honest, kind-hearted, educated and disciplined, their progeny are likely to have similar qualities. A mother with good values would give birth to a good child. She could play the most vital role in building her child's character. A mother should never suffer from the delusion that some institution will, later, teach everything to her child. In fact, it is her primary duty to cultivate good values & habits in her child, because childhood is the most influential time in one's life. Hence mothers should sow seeds of good values in their children and act as good teachers who are friends, philosophers and guides.
One of the most important requirements to develop morality is the practice of Meditation. We find, in all religions, that some fixed time is set aside for prayers daily. We should, therefore, form a habit where our children devote adequate time for prayer or meditation, because it brings about a great change in our lives & helps us understand what is right, what is wrong - things that are essential in navigating our lives in the right direction.
Morality emerges from deep within where all can't reach without meditation, as we are habituated to operate from the surface. Through meditation one can easily realise this ultimate truth
