As the so-called doomsday — December 21, 2012, approaches, a Delhi-based band Kraken aims to make people feel positive by singing original metal compositions. “By our performance, we hope to remove peoples’ fear of being doomed,” says Gavin George, the band bassist. The members get talking about

The people here are very chilled out, willing to let go and leave their preoccupations and worries behind, letting the music make them feel elevated and empowered.
What would you say is the best place in Delhi to make music?
Most of our compositions are done at the lead guitarist’s house. But for us, jam pads are the best places to test drive our sound.
